Artist's Comments

More then two years in the making, I have finally finished the Cid Highwind sculpture.

It was a real learning experience. It's nice seeing him stand there all done up.

Thank you to those who encouraged me to keep with this project, it wasn't easy. He would have ended up in the garbage otherwise.

Here ya go Cid! :salute:

Made with Super Sculpey and acrylics. Stands 8" toe to head, 9" with spear.

Close- up here.

I've had mercy, it was unpleasantly gooey, like...well, like things that have fallen onto pavement from a great height.
:iconescard:
hmmm what kind of material did you use?
looks so nice...
:iconescard:
and how did you manage to make those eyes ?!
:iconraijimagiwind:
I am so happy that you finished it!! I have been waiting to see what it would look like in the end, once you finally finished it. It's very nice and one of the best 'fan-made' CId's I have seen.

Who know's, if you ever plan to sell this bugger, I may just be interested in taking the devious man off your hands...XD

Oh thank you for reminding me. I forgot to include such details.

I used super sculpey to make him.

Thank you. ^_^

D'ya like Mayuri?
:iconrennard:
For his eyes I used acrylic paint, then applied a gloss finish so they'd have a wet shiny look.

Thank you very much.

I might consider that one day.
