This is the mysterious Mayuri painting I never really said much about.

I like it. :D

I'm thinking maybe one day I'll make a print of it. That'd be cool. This pic went through a lot of stages, but I think that's a good thing.

Did the digital painting with a bigger focus on learning lighting. Lighting is such an important element and I need to experiment with it more. I rarely even give it much consideration and that's why I'm not as happy with things as a result. I think this went fairly good. Yay woot.

Thanks to :iconshadowivy: who helped me with this loads and :iconyanimator: whose Bleach prints were a big inspiration.

Anyways, nice painting, Capt'n. I really like it. Makes Mayuri look like I've always pictured him. XDD

This is marvelous, Ren! I LOVE this! The texture on this is just absolutely STUNNING! :o

I love how the metallic parts are shaded here too, and his gleamy eyes!

I love how that purple energy came out too. Wonderful work... I cannot stop staring at this!!!
