So there has been something that has been bothering me ever since it occurred.

You ever have it where you create a piece of art that you worked hard on, you put your everything into, but in the end wasn't so well received, it felt like an utter defeat?

That defeat just kills your desire to continue on?

I'm sure we've all felt this way at one time or another. And I'm there. I feel like I need a "victory" to come out of it, but I lack any interest in trying.

I want to try something again, something big/epic-ish, but I have the nagging feeling it'll be second-rate like all my other stuff. It's like that horrible place where you are good enough to pass, but still deficient enough to not really intrigue anyones interest.

I sound negative, but I'm actually in a good mood as I write this. I'm just trying to get to the root of my feelings.

As for the defeated, I'll be so bold to ask you guys directly, otherwise it might just continue to haunt me.......like a bad sorta headache.



I guess you could say I am asking for a critique. XD

Any insight would be welcomed, loved, appreciated and awesome. Doesn't have to be nice, just honest and relevant.
